Domestic Dog, Breed undetermined (Canis lupus familiaris)
Place of Incident: North-West Mercer Park, Lawrenceville, NJ. Date and Time of Death: Between the months of December 2008 and February 2009. Cause: Unknown.
Notes: At the time of reported discovery, the extent of decay was considerable. It is likely that this animal was a pet who had wandered off and become confused, lost and endangered, succumbing to either the frigid winter temperature or to malnourishment. A visitor to the park discovered the remains in the center of a field while enjoying a recreational stroll.DAVID SANKEY graduated with a degree in Graphic Design from The College of New Jersey (formerly Trenton State) in the Spring of 2008.
