Photo Essay: Home
By Adam Gnade

I’ve lived in a lot of houses and I’ve loved some more than others. This last one is a Portland house, an old wooden monster from 1904, full of ghosts and red floorboards and strange sounds. I’m moving out in a few days so I decided to take some photos to remember what it looked like and how it felt. This is it, from chicken coop to beer pile to lucky Joan of Arc bust. Thanks, house. You’ve been good to us.
