His wife didn’t agree to this. In fact, she almost left him because of it. Jonathan Dueck left his home in suburban Michigan in search of the near mythical wild horses of the Yukon in northern Canada. Seven months of dead ends, false starts, frostbitten toes and countless bottles of whiskey had led to this chance encounter. Dueck did not marvel. He did not stand one moment in awe. He instinctively knew what he had to do. If only his wife could see him now.
Jonathan Dueck now lives in Airdrie, Alberta, Canada. The home that he shares with his wife Heather and the wonderful Pritchard family is on a large hill from which he can see a Super Wal-Mart. Try to find him at www.intransitcentre.infoFiled under: art, illustration, story
